RTBC GIFT GUIDE 2023

Every year we put together a gift guide with the help of you guys. This year has been a hard year, economically, politically and environmentally. We’ve put together a list of small businesses doing good things, that would really appreciate your support this Christmas.

Arthouse Unlimited

ARTHOUSE Unlimited is a charity presenting artistic talents of adults with complex neuro-diverse and physical support needs. Offering a sense of purpose lies at the heart of the charity. 100% of sales revenue helps support its sustainability and growth.

Black Lodge Press

is an ongoing print project inspired by DIY queer culture, working class history and anarchist politics.

Dill

is run by Daisy, 1/3 of RTBC. They make soy wax candles and currently have 20% off the whole shop before Daisy closes for maternity leave.

Joke Amusan

Joke is an artist whose work highlights the experiences and complex beauty of what it means to be a Black woman – through the exploration of identity and heritage.

Peter Mears

Through porcelain, Peter explores the space in-between isolation and connection.

Queer Brewing Co

Queer Brewing is a queer- and trans-owned brewery whose aim is to increase visibility and representation for LGBTQ+ people through beer. We produce a range of styles, from our iconic Witbier through to delicious pales and IPAs.

Stalf

Stalf hand make clothing from start to finish in Lincolnshire, UK. Inspired by Paris’ grandparents, their clothes are made to be worn over and over and made to last.

Two Fields Zakros

Two Fields make olive oil in Zakros, Greece. They’re teaching regenerative farming practices, providing farming families with fair, secure livelihoods and coming together to build something for the local community. Their olive oil is also delicious.

What Mother Made

is a London based, handmade Adult & Children’s wear label that blends classic traditional shapes with cool, locally sourced fabrics and contrast prints. Everything is made by hand to order in Hackney, London.

Black Horse Lane Atelier

London’s only craft jean maker with a focus on sustainability, community and unmatched quality.

Ceramics made in and inspired by Cornwall.

Revere The Residence

Revere is a gorgeous gift shop based in Stoke Newington, and online. It’s ran by people with learning disabilities or who are neurodiverse. Not for pity or praise, just levelling the playing field.

Vida Bakery

A gluten free, dairy free and vegan bakery operating from Brick Lane, London. They deliver delicious cakes, brownies and cookies nation wide.

Kin by Marie Mitchell

Kin celebrates the power of food, and explores how food connects us to our family, our culture and our roots. Using recipes from across the Caribbean, Marie tells the stories behind each dish, the history and culture they come from.
